Hilary has been Florida Bar member since 1998, and a full-time mediator since 2012. She is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to mediate any circuit civil or appellate matter in Florida, and by the U.S. District Court to mediate federal cases. Hilary is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, and a longtime member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) and the Florida Circuit-Civil Mediator Society.  She chaired the Hillsborough County Bar Association ADR Section from 2013 to 2015.  Hilary presents to Bar organizations and other groups about ADR, and has developed Florida Bar approved CLE courses about mediation and ADR.

 

From 1998 to 2012, Hilary worked at Hill Ward Henderson in Tampa, handling personal injury, professional liability, insurance coverage and commercial cases in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts.  She has been Martindale-Hubbell peer review rated AV Preeminent since 2006.

 

Hilary graduated with honors from FSU College of Law.  In law school, she worked at Ausley & McMullen P.A. in Tallahassee, Carlton Fields in Tampa, and spent a year as a legal intern in the Florida House of Representatives.  She was president of Moot Court and, with her team partner, won the Tulane Sports Law Moot Court Competition. 

 

In 1995, Hilary graduated magna cum laude from FSU with a B.A. degree (history and English).  She was a four-year Florida Academic Scholar and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society for lifetime membership.
